Seminar for Principals and Managers

 





















 

Held On  - 16th June 2005 at Vikas Asha Kendra Hall, Jabalpur 

There are 22 schools under the Diocese of Jabalpur, CNI. Some are English Medium Schools and the rest are Hindi Medium Schools. Most of the schools are very old and were established by missionaries whose desire to spread education and remove illiteracy.

A seminar for Principals and Managers were organized in the diocese in which all the Principals and Managers participated.

The seminar was inaugurated by the Rt. Rev. Dr. P. C. Singh, Bishop Diocese of Jabalpur, CNI who is also the Chairman of school managing committee.

In his inaugural speech the Bishop spoke about the history and the object with which the educational institutions were started. He pointed out that with the passage of time some of our institutions have not kept pace with the time particularly in rural areas where the infrastructure facilities are wanting. There is every reason to rejoice and feel satisfied with our well know institutions like the Christ church schools in Jabalpur which are rated very high and there is great demand for admissions. He emphasized the need to have devotion and sincerity.

There was time for open discussion and the participants freely took part in it. Our failures and remedies in the face of difficulties like the shortage of funds, old buildings and lack of furniture, playgrounds and staff problems.
