The
Christ Church Boys’ Hostel was founded in the year 1915. The
Hostel situated in the school campus is purely self-supporting.
The hostel is only for boys who are students of the Christ Church
Boys’ School.
At
present the hostel functions under the Jabalpur Diocesan Hostel
Committee, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Prem Chand Singh is the Chairman of
the Board.
The hostel caters to the needs of the boys who would benefit being
in the hostel, rather than in the homes of relatives and friends.
It aims at helping them to experience corporate living, training
them to be independent and accept responsibility developing
affective study habits and Christian discipline, leadership and
service.
It aims to provide a home away from home, to care for children
with Christian love and concern and to enable the child to become
a useful member of the community.
At present Mr. Sudhir R. Jacob is the Manager of the Hostel, Mr.
F. H. Claudius is the Hostel Superintendent and the Hostel can
accommodate a maximum strength of 140 students from KG-I to Class
XII.
At present Mr. Ladlie Mathew is the Principal of the School, which
enjoys the strength of 3,000 students and 101 members on the
teaching and office staff. |
